We’re delighted to be attending this conference on the 24th and 25th October and speaking alongside others with passion and expertise in applying positive psychology in organisational and clinical settings. Members of our network can get 25% off tickets…
The conference is themed around ‘Positive Psychology in Practice’. The focus will be providing an up-to-date overview of the science of wellbeing and critically examining the emergence and development of this new field. The speakers will explore the keys to a happy and meaningful way of life by addressing gaps, biases and exciting new ways to bring this topic forward.
As well as getting a better understanding of what Positive Psychology actually is, the study and science behind it, attendees will learn how we can move beyond the theoretical to incorporate positive psychology into practical and real-life settings.
Joshua will be giving an interactive introduction to the application of the PERMA model of wellbeing, and will cover the following:
✔ An overview of Martin Seligman’s PERMA model of flourishing
✔ Exploration of the practical application of this model into organisations and its relevance to performance conversations and leadership development
✔ An introduction to tools that empower everyone in an organisation to take accountability for their own and others’ wellbeing
✔ A case story of the ‘Wellbeing Confident Leaders’ programme which Bailey & French led with Senior Civil Servants across the UK Civil Service
There will be 20 other speakers, covering topics as diverse as culture shock, job crafting, and spirituality, with leading authorities sharing evidence-based positive psychology techniques and recommendations that have been shown to increase clients’ wellbeing.
Hope to see you there!
